Have a great time with us learning to make Cow's Milk Feta with Emlyn Crocker. This is a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a simple home-made cheese you can make in your own kitchen. Feta takes several (2-4) weeks to mature, and the workshop will walk us through the beginning and ending stages of this process. Each participant will leave with some of their own fresh, delicious cow's milk feta cheese.

Making soft cheese is not complicated, and experimenting with making your own cheese is one of the more enjoyable things a kitchen-craft wizard can do.  Making soft cheeses from scratch is easy, but is best learned with an experienced guide because cheese making is as much of an art as it is a skill!

Due to limited space, pre-registration is required.
See TO REGISTER below for details.

Originally from Plainfield Vermont, she developed a love for cheese-making after studying on St. Lawrence University’s Adirondack Semester in 2012, when she interned for several weeks at Birdsfoot Farm, where they care for an organic cow. Today, one of her favorite hobbies is cheese-making, and she has experience making yogurt, kefir, butter, mozzarella, chevre, yogurt cheese and Swiss cheese.
