Join the Local Living Venture and Jenna Decker for a session that shares tips and techniques for natural household cleaning and body care to keep your family healthy - and save some bucks on all of those products while you're at it!
Each participant will leave with samples of a multi-purpose cleaner and a luxurious body butter, using essential oils and other simple ingredients, as well as with the knowledge of how to make them at home themselves. How cool is that!
Eco-Friendly Home * A Make-n-Take
Wednesday, September 19
6 to 8 pm
EJ Noble Center, NY
An RSVP is needed for materials gathering, see 'To Register' below.
First in a series!
Future Eco Home workshop themes include Kids, Pets and Toxin Free Living on October 10 and Toxin Free Gift Giving on December 12.
This introductory workshop on how to keep an "Eco-Friendly Home," a make and take event, will share the use of essential oils (EO) and other simple ingredients to keep toxins out of household cleaning products and off of your skin.
We could all use a little less exposure to chemicals that are harmful to us, especially when applied directly to the skin (which is the largest organ in the body and does transmit to the bloodstream!)
This workshop will show you how, sharing simple recipes for (cheap to make) home care products and an introductory course on the use of essential oils in the home.
Presenter Jenna Decker teaches introductory essential oil (EO) classes and has attended several training sessions on essential oils in recent years. She offers online, community and in-home essential oil education classes.
Jenna strives to inspire people to create an eco-friendly home, learn to make simple toxin free products, and take control of their wellness plan with the use of high quality essential oils. She is also an Independent Distributor for Young Living Essential Oils.
Registration is needed in order to prepare enough materials for the items we'll be creating together.
