These monthly gatherings that will feature skill-sharing, bulk food-making, make-it-take it, and other activities. If you would like to join us to learn more about our vision and mission, we'd love to see you there. At this event, we will present our 2015 Annual Report (very briefly) and celebrate our good fortune to have made it this far with so many good friends and neighbors making it happen!

All are welcome to join us at our monthly gathering featuring:
Skill-sharing demo's and show-n-tell (bring your interesting project or hobby to share!)
Bulk food-making (alternating months) where we all cook up a beautiful mess of food and share in the bounty - take some home to freeze and have healthy meals later!
Make-it-take it projects utilizing sustainably sourced items, etc.
Service projects (to benefit LLV events, organizing and/or others)
Many other activities (some of which perhaps you can suggest!)
Held every third Wednesday of the month starting at either 5 pm or 6:30, going until 8 or 9ish, or whenever we're done!
Alternating Canton/Potsdam venues.
FREE, but a small donation is appreciated to benefit LLV programs.
Some bulk cooking events will be on a shared cost basis though we will attempt to have the foodstuffs donated by friendly local farms, CSA's, individuals, and stores.

For this bi-monthly bulk food fiesta, we will be preparing (TO BE ANNOUNCED, IF APPLICABLE)
Bring a container or two to take home the bounty of our shared efforts.
(IF APPLICABLE) There is no cost for the food which has been generously donated by the local farms noted below!
(IF APPLICABLE) There will be a small cost-sharing component to the Bulk Food Fiesta based entirely on the cost to purchase the food, to be shared equally by all participants. Unfortunately, we cannot determine the amount until such time that we divvy up the food.
5:00 For bulk food events only, we will start at this time. Bring your aprons and favorite knife!
6:30 (IF APPLICABLE) The make-n-take, service project, or other main event will commence,
(IF APPLICABLE) A meal of delicious ____ will be shared. Please bring your own place setting if possible to reduce dishwashing.
7:00 Pre-arranged skills-sharing sessions will be featured (contact us at LocalLivingVenture@gmail.com to join in!)
Show-n-tell time available for those who bring something interesting to share.
(IF APPLICABLE) Divvying up of the ____ to take home. Bring your containers or freezer bags!
(IF APPLICABLE) Roasting process will continue, two to four trays at a time, until we're done.
