Make-it-take it projects utilizing sustainably sourced items, etc.
Service projects (to benefit LLV events, organizing and/or others)
Many other activities (some of which perhaps you can suggest!)
Held every third Wednesday of the month starting at either 5 pm or 6:30, going until 8 or 9ish, or whenever we're done!
Alternating Canton/Potsdam venues.
FREE, but a small donation is appreciated to benefit LLV programs.
Some bulk cooking events will be on a shared cost basis though we will attempt to have the foodstuffs donated by friendly local farms, CSA's, individuals, and stores.

What's on the menu?
This will be a bit of a mini-workshop version of our popular How To Cook Beans and Grains events!
Learn how to prepare dry beans, especially if you think it's hard to do (it's not!), and how to present them to your family in a way that they honeslty wouldn't even mind eating them several days a week! We will share our secrets!
As a group endeavor, we will be preparing different varieties of grains and beans - the complete protein that can be prepared SO delicously, and can be served to your family for as little as 28 cents a serving!
This event wil feature lots of different condiments to make it easy for every member of your household to enjoy a delicious meal.
Bring a container or three to take home the bounty of our shared efforts.
There is no cost for the food which has been generously donated by the Potsdam Food Co-op! (though free-will donations are appreciated!)
Snacks are generously provided by Nature's Storehouse in Canton as well.
