What are probiotics and why are they important?  Fermentation is a huge supporter to your immune function - it increases your B vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids, digestive enzymes, lactase and lactic acid that fight off harmful bacteria to foster good "gut health."

We'll cover many topics - including fermented foods in our diet and the history of condiments (mustard, ketchup, salad dressings were fermented and probiotic!)
Up next: what’s wrong with store-bought?  Then, we'll cover some probiotic salad dressing ingredients that make it easy to chow down for good health; including yogurt, crème fraiche, sauerkraut, apple cider vinegar, kombucha, easy vegetable ferment salad dressings, and whey.  We may even whip up some fresh, real mayonaise!

Then we move on to the fun stuff - we'll get "hands-on," making dressings & salads together, followed by a light and flavorful shared meal chock full of nourishing "mighty microbes!"
